The VRGeo Consortium members represent international oil and gas companies, their suppliers of software applications, and their providers of related technology. Industrial companies are full members and academic institutions are academic members of the VRGeo Consortium.

Industrial members can each nominate one academic institution to become an academic member of the VRGeo Consortium. A final decision will be made by the VRGeo Consortium Steering Committee.
