6/2011 VRGeo Meeting December 2011

The next 2011 VRGeo Consortium Meeting will be a 3 days meeting and it will happen on December 6-8, 2011 at Fraunhofer IAIS in Sankt Augustin, Germany. The meeting is for the members of the VRGeo Consortium. It is open for companies of the international oil & gas industry and related technology providers (prospects) considering a VRGeo Consortium membership.

10/2010 VRGeo @ SEG 2010

Hosted by the VRGeo Consortium member Landmark/Halliburton, the VRGeo Consortium presented the VRGeo SeisTouch application on a 46” multi-touch display as part of the Landmark show at the industry exhibition at the SEG Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado, USA, 17-22 October 2010.

5/2008 VRGeo Consortium Open House at Fraunhofer IAIS in Sankt Augustin, Germany: June 18, 2008

The VRGeo Consortium celebrated its 10th anniversary in June 2008. There was an opportunity for an interested public to meet the members of the VRGeo Consortium and find out about the progress made in the VRGeo Consortium R&D programme.

VRGeo is the international consortium for the oil and gas industry. It was established in 1998 by Adolfo Henriques from Statoil (Norway). Current industrial members include Barco, BP, Chevron Corporation, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, HP, Landmark, StatoilHydro, Petrobras, Saudi Aramco, and Shell.

The Fraunhofer Institut "Intelligente Analyse- und Informationssysteme (IAIS)" and the VRGeo R&D Team is proud to invite you to our VRGeo Consortium 10th Anniversary Open House Event on June 18, 2008 at the Fraunhofer Campus ('Schloss Birlinghoven') in Sankt Augustin, Germany. We will have presentations, demonstrations and discussions for you, all around the works of the VRGeo Consortium.
