The VRGeo Consortium is interested in making possible and accelerating research on the use of virtual reality technology in modelling hydrocarbon reservoirs. Its R&D work focusses on developing visualization technology for geoscience applications in Virtual Environments. The results of the VRGeo Consortium work include, but are not limited to software, hardware and methodologies.
